Here's what our visitors are saying...
Wonderful small family owned campground on the east side of Asheville and convenient to Blue Ridge Parkway, Veterans' Hospital, Biltmore Estate and so much more. Very quiet with numerous mature campers. We have stayed here for over 15 years and always feel welcome when we return -- just like coming home!

We stayed here a week and decided to stay a month longer. This park has much to offer: easy convenient location for downtown, Blue Ridge Parkway entrance (less than a mile away), quiet in spite of being near busy Tunnel St., and friendly owners. Price is not "cheak" but we compared and price here is as good as any we could find in Asheville. Sites have mix of shade and open views. We chose open site to accomodate satellite TV. On site washer / dryer is available.
Nice clean park. Friendly folk. Close to a lot of things to see. Great place for toyhaulers. I'll be back!
I'v enow been on the road for a year now. I stayed at Taps last fall for a month and it was great. I am now back for a month of Fall (Oct 2015). We have been here more than a week and the park is still great and Bill the owner is still a great park host. I've seen people come through here that don't know how to drive an RV and those are the ones complaining. I have been to RV parks all over the country now. I've seen bigger spots and roads and I've seen a lot smaller and tighter parks. This place is fine if you know how to drive an RV. I'll be back again because this park is great, the owner is great! the neighborhood is great with good food and farm stand near by. The Blue Ridge Pkway is just down the street.
